M Comics started way back in 1992 with issue #1 titled "REBIRTH". In this episode the hero M was resurrected and his mission was to destroy the evil Queen Sabrina and her servant/bodyguard Spike. M is son to the Moon Protector Xeric. Xeric is an embassador to all 6 planets in the Sun King System
There are 6 planets in the Sun King System and each planet has moons in which a guardian or knight represents each moon, and each moon protects the planet it revolves around. The first planet is Taliss, This is the Queen's Planet. This planet is orbited by 5 moons; Moon Oros - Protected by Solstice the Guardian, Moon Argent - Protected by Argent the Knight, Moon Steelius - protected by Captain Steelia, Moon Coppa - Protected by General Caras, Moon Brotto - Protected by Eternity the Guardian.
Nerranda is where the comic book tale takes place. It has only one moon, Celadon - Protected by Seven the Knight. This plannet is overrun by turmoil, a dead city protected by fortified gates to keep out intruders, it has been ravaged by war for almost a thousand years, it has also been occupied by invading in all that time. The Hexus Army has enforced Martial Law over the city's bordering the outskirts of the walls of The Nerrandian Empire
Azular was ruled by Prince Azular up until Lord terminus destroyed this planet along with 2 of its 4 moons. It's moons consisted of Moon Tierus - Protected by Starkiss a Guardian (Moon Destroyed), Moon Bliss - Protected by Chaos the Guardian (Moon Assumed Destroyed), Moon Aquas - Protected by Aquas the Knight (Moon Destroyed), and Moon Zeiffer - Protected by Zeiffer the Knight (this moon is so far out of range it survived the destruction of Azular and the other moons, and it found orbit close to the nearest planet Nerranda)
Terminus the 4th planet in this system and also the largest. Terminus was ruled by a tyrannical overlord and namesake of the planet he inhabited. Lord Terminus wanted to overthrow the Sun-King and be the new ruler, he only needed all the powers of all 20 knights and guardians in order to overpower the Sun-King. Terminus has 5 moons which protect it; Moon Rouge - Protected by General Redd, Moon Infernus - Protected by Infernus the Knight, Moon Rosamor - Protected by Terminus's twin daughters Kia and Tia the guardians, Moon Robotronica - Protected by the Knight Robotron, and Moon Magmus - Protected by General Brain.
Parra is Lord Terminus's Bride. She only has 3 moons to protect her planet; Moon Violus - Protected by twin siblings Violus the Knight and Viola the Guardian, Moon Hexus - Protected by General Kreig, and Moon Sepius - protected by Captain Skull.
Xeric helped create all the knights and guardians, and was given only one moon which he used to protect his only child M. M has all the powers of all 20 of the moons, and is the only one who could protect the Sun-King System from Lord Terminus. So when they finally came to battle, Terminus and M fought to the edge of the universe, and never returned.
